Obituary notices appearing in The Evansville Courier & Press are submitted through the funeral homes that are in charge of arrangements. While the newspaper will accept information from family members or friends about out-of-town deaths that are of local interest, we still require that the obituary be furnished by the funeral home. If the name and city of the funeral home are provided, The Evansville Courier & Press will contact the funeral director. All local-area funeral homes are familiar with the information that will be published in an obituary.
Reprints of published photographs and others taken by our photographers are available for a pre-paid fee. Forms and price information are available at The Evansville Courier & Press front desk.
