The News Sentinel and EdAmerica congratulate the outstanding class of 2009 Academic Achievers. Students were recognized at a special awards banquet on April 16, 2009.
The News Sentinel Academic Achievers program was developed in 1985 with the support of area principals to visibly recognize academic excellence. Since the program’s inception, the News Sentinel has recognized the achievements of over 6,900 outstanding students. Each winter, the participating schools select their top students for this honor.
