The News Sentinel and EdAmerica congratulate the oustanding class of 2008 Academic Achievers. Students will be recognized at a special awards banquet on April 17, 2008 at 6 p.m. in the grand ballroom of the Knoxville Convention Center. Bruce Pearl is keynote speaker.
The News Sentinel Academic Achievers program was developed in 1985 with the support of area principals to visibly recognize academic excellence. Since the program’s inception, the News Sentinel has recognized the achievements of over 6,300 outstanding students. Each winter, the participating schools select their top students for this honor.
News Sentinel Academic Achievers enjoy the 2007 ceremony.
