need some walk on DLmen sure do need some help on D Course this season is going to be a brutal one no matter what we have We have to give Dooley some time.
We still have a few schollies left. My guess is that Dooley is doing a man hunt for talented/undiscovered DTs, maybe JUCOs. This is a very good class for us, really. But we have been going light with our DT recruiting for too long. We got one, and he might have grade issues for all I know.
Wasn't there a OL that we were looking at as an insurance sign? He was originally committed to La Tech but said he would come here if offered. Am I correct in thinking this or do I have this confused with someone else or position? What about Glass or any others we might sign?
I recall a DT being held as a fallback. My hope is that getting a good DC and a D-line coach might help to pull somebody our way from somewhere. We do have a few good DTs on the team to play this year. But we do need more coming in...
All in all I would say that Coach Dooley had a very successful first recruiting class. If you look back to the day that Kiffin announced he was leaving for SC and say you expected the first class to be this good, well, I just don't believe you. I definitely thought we were gone. For what its worth I believe that his first class is truly amazing and I couldn't be happier
