Well cry me a river you big baby. Get over Fulmer, he is gone.
You are the one acting like a child here, not me. I'll choose to remember Fulmer with respect. Like it or not he will ALWAYS be an important part of the University of Tennessee.
I hope he chooses UT, I have an old #7 (Clausen)jersey that I need to rock again. I don't have much hope, though. Too many years have gone by with these big time recruits leaving the big orange hat on the table.

HerbertComacho and Foibles... What is wrong with you guys? The jury is obviously still out on what these coaches can do, but please tell us what you would be doing right at this moment to get these recruits to Tennessee? I get the sense that these coaches are really doing extraordinary things to just get in on some of these bigtime recruits. It's so easy to jeer from the peanut gallery, it's much more difficult to be solution driven. I would love for both of you to quit saying what UT and the AD SHOULDN'T HAVE DONE, and begin telling us what they SHOULD BE DOING. And please keep it within the bounds of reason. Hiring a 5 Mil a year coach is not feasible for UT at the moment. Just tell us what would you guys would be doing differently with all your wisdom and experience from an execution perspective to revive the program. CBJ and his group are putting in the work in a big way. I would like to see if it yields results before the trashing begins.
It is crazy that there are so many UT haters on this UT fan website. Let's give this guy a chance. I'm impressed that he has gotten so many 5* recruits to even visit, that hasn't happened in a long time. Let's let him coach a few games before we call for his head and go further into debt.
Yeah...the best kids just LOVE to play as soon as possible. That's why Nick Saban can't ever build depth, because what high school kids really want to do is play early.
This line of reasoning is played out. The great players choose great programs no matter how long it takes to get on the field. They know it gives them the best shot at the NFL. Vonn Bell will choose Bama or Ohio State because those two programs are light years ahead of the Vols. He isn't going to choose Jones and his Cincinnati crew. If he wanted to play for a Big East school, he has plenty of offers.
There is no pleasing a biased critic, if CBJ finishes a strong recruiting you'll claim he's done nothing on the field yet. If he finishes in the top 50 you'll whine he's a mid-major coach recruiting mid-major talent. So, what's the real story with this barrage of negativity? Did CBJ overlook you while he was at Cincy?

No matter how tempting, it's never wise to feed a troll BB.
Just looked at where the AJC 75 are going...not to TN. Georgia has some of the best talent in the country and when TN was winning with Fulmer it was due in large part to steller recruits from GA. So far, we have 2 committed. A smallish WR and DB. The rest are committed elsewhere.
Just fasten your chin straps fans. When the top 4 or 5 SEC programs can practically fill both sides of the ball with 4 and 5 star recruits and we feel great to get no 5 star and few 4 stars, is a good indicator of how far the program has fallen. With the talent we lost on offense, I see no great improvement for years to come. I'm not happy about it, just realistic.
....Mike Hamilton was allowed to cut a wide swath of disctruction through UT's athletic department laying waste to several major sports. It will be several years to come before UT will be back in the major college sports conversation....I do not envy Butch Jones!
A friend of mine after touring Va Tech weight room said Tech's is like HS compared to UT.. Neyland stadium = Largest stadium in the SEC. A new 50 million dollar WOW facility. The Peyton manning tudor center..etc. Hmm you try to make it sound like Penn Statesville in Knoxville

That's not true.
UT's hat doesn't make it to the table any more.

So common sense remains at a premium - Von will not be at this spring practice whether he commits or not. He didn't leave early. My goodness.
