Ha ha.. brag about beating a Vandy team that just lost Ezeli, Taylor and Jenkins to the NBA draft plus all 5 starters are gone and Martin almost lost on a last second tipin in Knoxville and UT scored 18 points in the second half in Nashville. Enjoy another NIT without Pearl. Vandy won their opener in Baseball yesterday, how did the Vols do? Vandy ranked in the Top 5 again. UT cant spell Top 5 without Fulmer and Pearl.

You act like a 2 year old.

Could you repeat that? I bet you've already beaten your sister/wife.

I guess Stokes got that win against the cats after all, one thing is sure, they all played good BB today. Edwards really came off the bench and played well. Hall had a good game for a change.

Best stats as a team all year from the Vols.

Moore is a rebounding machine.

Golden proved once again that he is the key to the offense and how about McBee today, wow !

No matter what else happens this season this was a great win and even with Noel in the game I still think the Vols would have won this one.

Doubt we hear from you again for a loooooong while

I believe the best thing that's happened to Golden was the time off. He looks rested, intergized and is playing like it.

Best half of Counzo ball at UT. I didn't recognize the attacking team that was in Orange early.

I know, right?!? Obviously not having Noel in there made a huge difference, but the Vols just carved them up like a Christmas turkey. You could see that they were running actual plays a good part of the time. Golden played the most efficient game I have seen out of him in quite some time. The best thing about the game was the constant emphasis on taking it inside and not heaving up ill-advised 3-pointers. Even when they got a few blocked, they never let up. This despite the fact that Stokes didn't have a monster game. When they did take a 3-pointer, it was a good shooter shooting wide open and in rhythm. The next best thing was no open-court turnovers. They had only a few unforced turnovers but none that UK could run out for dunks. Every Vol who played more than a couple of minutes made a contribution. Special props to Kenny Hall for stepping up big.

I've got something old buddy... they just haven't diagnosed what it is or if there's a cure... lol... anyway... that was one fun game to watch.
Worst beating Cal has taken as the UK coach. My only regret is they didn't win by a few more and give Slimeball the worst beatdown in his life.

Yeah, I was hoping for a 40 point beat-down, but Cuonzo called the dogs off and let the pups finish the game..Either way the Squid won't be enjoying his jelly donuts tomorrow..This defeat will sting for quite a while. I just hope UT gets another shot at them in the SEC tourney and kicks their arse again before the years over..

From a Memphis fan... I am having a blast watching UT absolutey dismantle UK. I'm also impressed with the improvement made from the last time I watched you guys. I undestand Noel isn't playing but he wouldn't have made up this gap. The big dance may not be out of the question playing like this. Congrats.

Thanks for a very classy comment. We have all wondered where THIS Vol team has been all year. Even when they weren't playing well, I kept saying that the only thing they need to do is play within themselves and play with confidence. The talent and coaching are there, it was just a matter of putting it together. They may have started too late to make the NCAAs this year, and the Vols have NEVER done well in the SEC tourney, but who knows, this may be their year. Love to have another shot at your Tigers now(;-P)! Good luck the rest of the way and thanks for visiting.

Nothing better than going out to dinner in Lexington tonight dressed in BIG ORANGE!

Well, be sure to watch your back. Probably be lots of UK fans not on their best behavior if they see Big Orange around after this!
