First off, I wasn't a fan of the Dooley hire. I still think that his hire was reactionary and not well thought out, BUT...I was impressed with tonight's effort.

Personally, I thought Oregon would hang at least sixty points on us and we played hard and smart for the first half. I know that a lot of the orange kool-aid drinkers have had to come back to reality tonight (anyone who thinks that we'll have an 8 win season is an idiot), but as for me...I was impressed. I'm not saying that I'm a Dooley convert yet, but after tonight, I don't think he is a coaching bust.
