In July 2010, Bill Haslam accepted the endorsement of UT head basketball coach Bruce Pearl.

Coach Pearl admitted that he lied to NCAA investigator during an inquiry of recruiting practices at the University of Tennessee.

The University of Tennessee handed down severe penalities against Coach Pearl and the basketball staff.

Bill Haslam must reject the unethical behavior of Coach Pearl and rescind his political endorsement.

If Haslam does not, this would be a setback for ethics in Tennessee government. Could this be what the citizens of Tennessee can look forward to a Haslam Administration in Nashville?
