As I mentioned yesterday, McRae is a stone cold baller. It just took him a while to get a grasp on the game at the D-1 level. But if Pearl could have kept his players in school, guys like McRae would have had the luxury of a red shirt as he needed. Mcray is gonna be an assassin down the road for this team. Golden is the PG we have all been waiting for the last 5 years. And McBee....Oh McBee...He just has a thing for big shots. His shots always seem to be in a time of need. They either ignite a run for us or stop a run for the enemy. The "Grainger Gunner" has put a halt to all of the "McBrick" comments we used to see on here. He too should have gotten a RS season to get his feet under him. And even though he traveled, Stokes dunk was flat out SICK. This team is gonna be a handful the next two seasons.
No doubt. No doubt.
McRae plays SO HIGH with the ball that his release, in rhythm, is unstoppable quick. McBee's a trip, running around 8 feet behind the guy he's guarding and still gets the job done.
You are so right on the Stokes dunk. I didn't see a travel, but since he covered so much floor with his step-in and slammed 6 feet away from the goal, it just looked wrong.
The best thing of all was watching TEAM play. Every player on the floor was tuned into the flow of the game as well as knowing where their partners where in the flow. Beautiful ball.
