I would have said the same thing until I started going to Nashville Predators games. How can a Southern guy who can't even ice skate become a hockey fan? Well, I went to some games and listened for somebody sitting near me with a northern accent and started asking questions. Then I went to playoff games in Nashville last year, and that's when I really got hooked.

Every person in every Memphis cemetery can vote twice, but the new redistricing limits their power to the point that they aren't really a problem anymore. The days of Boss Crump rule are long gone, thankfully.
