Remember though, that Majors had to take 4 or 5 years to rebuild what that Alabama kid Bill Battle destroyed. Majors left the program in much better shape when Fulmer took over than it was in 1977 when Majors arrived. I'm not trying to downgrade Fulmer's success, but rather just stating facts.
