This is positively the worst defense I have ever seen TN put onto a field. Linebackers are easily sucked in, backs are constantly out of position, and the DL seldom gets the call to blitz. We actually looked half-way decent in the NC State but have gotten progressively worse each week. Sunseri and players claim the defense has been dumbed-down. Dumbed down to what? To become spectators? The formation Saturday actually looked like we were back in a 4-3. Dooley gets his shot at D and we will all see if he can coach or not. Our offense has scored enough to win all but one game, so this has been discouraging to say the least. I'd like to see Hunter on a corner and see him go both ways. That would at least shut down one side. Heaven help us!
