Come on need for speed give the guy a break. His is just stating the obvious. The big orange defense is kinda like swiss cheese. The offense is tasked with having to score everytime they get the ball. In the first half they racked up quite a bit of yardage but did not have a large number on the scoreboard and that hurt them in the end. The big orange nation needs to drop their expectation level several notches. I think we should look to our immediate west and north to see what our future looks like. That would be Vanderbilt and Kentucky. I do believe that Vandy is actually on the upswing and their past might be more relevant to the future of UT. We are now on par with them in the east and don't have a chance of seeing Atlanta in December for a long, long time. George, South Carolina and Florida are light years ahead of us. Missouri is better, and Vandy has more excitement than UT. Kentucky is the only program that is below UT and if they hold their nose and nod their head to Bobby "P" they will on the road to better days. That could leave ole smoky behind. Ole Smoky is huring with a bad case of hemmoroids and he is walking with a limp, and rocky top is littered with manure. If you go up there I would suggest wearing a pair of old boots and watch your step. Bowl elgible...are you kidding me who would want to invite the vols? I would be ashamed to go to a bowl if I were invited. The entire athletic program is falling flat on its face. The once might lady vols lost to Chattanooga of the Southern Conference. Granted they have had a good team for that second tier but come on. The men BB, no, baseball, no, lady vol softball, no, track, no, golf, no, no,no,no......
