Dooley could have hired a competent 4-3 defensive coordinator with a similar style to wilcox but he went for a 3-4 in a year he needed to win. This is the equivalent of taking a wishbone offense and trying to implement a spread passing attack. Do not start with the Hart hired Sunseri stuff if that was the case dooley should have said something by now. I also feel special teams is still pretty bad except for the return game with patterson.

I said from the beginning of the year this Defensive scheme change in a year dooley's job is on the line is his stupidest career move since arriving in Knoxville. If he could have left well enough alone and stayed with the 4-3 He could have been up for sec coach of the year awards. Instead it is going to cost him his job.
