This is SAD!!! I want to say if we had not changed the scheme, we would be an 8 win team right now, but honestly you can coach and scheme until your blue in the face, but some kids regress rather than become better athletes.

Our Defense is a prime example;I know you guys don't wanna hear it because you are blinded by the songs of we have so much talent! WE DON'T!!!

We were 28th in total defense last year, but we also gave up huge passing plays and you guys should remember that! We were all screaming Wilcox doesn't belong in the SEC and his defenses can't cut it! Which was true depite the ranking!

So yeah these same players are here, some were highly touted players, but yet they are getting exposed for who they truly are; a bunch of SOFT,SLOW,players who aren't very smart or agressive on the field.

Take Wagner and Gordon, both are decent players, but Gordon will sometimes come up and make a stop while Prentiss tends to shy away from tackling a power back.

These guys are nothing like LSU,Bama,or Texas A&M Cornerbacks, same goes for our safties, it seems that Brent Brewer is the only one with some guts out there but can't stay in the game long enough to really get going.

Brent was a beast when Janzen was back there with him,and they would have been a force today!

Dooley isn't the problem on Defense, it's the Players!! Yes Dooley has make some questionable calls but hasn't Les Miles, Dan Mullen,and other head coaches. Coaches are only as confident in his players as they can execute, and if they don't he won't put the game in their hands!

I truly hope you guys can see through your Instant win Microwave mentality and realize that NO a new homerun hire will not have Instant success here at UT.

It will take time, and I hope you give them the 4 years not 2 or 3 to turn this team around! Ohh and yeah if Dooley leaves so will the Big 3. He's become like a father to them, and if dad goes then so does sons, so look to be starting all over, and yeah like Auburn learned, Pheonoms don't grow on trees, so don't expect another CP,you see we have yet to find another Eric Berry!

In short until we can have some stability at head coach kids will not want to come here.
Blame who you want,but blame won't fix UT,and coaches don't get on the field and make the key stops needed to win. Players do!

But anyway GO VOLS!!!
