Dooley is a good man, a solid person with excellent character. I will miss his candor, humor, and wit with the media, unlike so many coaches who simply give 'coach speak' responses. I've grown to like him these three quick years and hate to see him go out like this. Of course losing sucks, and winning is a huge criteria, but Dooley had great personality and character and was dedicated to the program. Win-Loss record aside, Derek was a great ambassador for UT, and amid the on-field losses a lot of good inside the program. He's a first class guy. I wish you well Coach Dooley.
