Majors is being kind. He didn't have anywhere near the talent level as Dooley had by his 3rd year. Fulmer and Kiffin didn't exactly leave the cubbard empty. Dooley also had an advantage with the facilities for recruiting. The biggest difference in the two coaches, however, is in the X's and O's and game decisions. How many times have we seen Dooley with the incorrect number of players on the field or not utulizing his time outs correctly? And the defense under Dooley was simply the worst in school's history. Buck stops at the top.

Did you just say, "Fulmer didn't leave the cupboard empty?" BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Fulmer absolutely quit recruiting his last 5 years. Fulmer emptied the cupboard then donated it to the Salvation Army.

UT is where it is now because Phil sat down on us from 2002-03 until he was fired. Fulmer should have been fired in 2005. Lane Kiffin is the best thing to ever happen to Fulmer. It gave him a scapegoat. Phillip Fulmer kept saying. "I should be given a chance to turn it around." Why? He was at the helm and is one that drove it into the ground.
