You have to smile and appreciate it when somebody makes a comment like that. Too bad he'll only get a single game trial run here; promoting from within sometimes works pretty well - Fulmer, and sometimes not - Battle. Hammy passed on the opportunity in favor of Kiffin - promoting from within would probably have been better. Giving Chaney a chance wouldn't even let the pikes and torches cool off though.
