Having said that, back up to their schedule. Lost to South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. Did not have to play Alabama, LSU, and Texas A & M. That would have been 6 losses.

Tennessee? Admittedly, by season's end, the Vols were very much horrible on defense, and after the way the games ended with Georgia, South Carolina, Mississippi State and Missouri, Tennessee had mailed in the rest of the season.........so losing to Vandy wasn't an earth shattering event.

Finally, Vanderbilt is crowing and puffing up....which is understandable for the 2nd time in 30 years. Therefore, give them their moment in the sun.........and although improved by their standards, they're hardly the SEC's cream of the crop.

Yes, coach Dooley's time had arrived. He didn't win as much as was necessary........however, for the classless idiots who made up screen names taunting him on this sorry website, we have long since identified who the kids, the childish trolls, and the whiny idiots have been and still are.

The Vols will be okay down the road. Can't say as much for the idiots.
