Apparently there was more to Dooley than just his losing record. I seriously doubt they enjoyed losing either. So for any of them to come out and stand up for him..., well, there must be more to being a coach and being a man than merely winning/losing football games. Perhaps that much is lost on you.

Obviously, CDD had a bigger impact on these kids than you will ever accept. Bottom line, however, is winning football games these days. Thus, he was fired. Don't criticize the kids and assistant coaches for standing up for the man.
