I will be in K'ville for Thanksgiving, so I may try to go to the game to honor the seniors. Any real football fan has to feel a bit bad for the guys who have been here four or five years through so much turmoil and lack of success. Playing college football is an almost unimaginable grind for most of us. A college scholarship can seem scant recompense for most players, especially those who don't have a lucrative future in pro football ahead of them, which is most of them. Constant pain and fatigue; constant pressure from coaches, fans, family, and friends; nearly all their time taken out of their own hands--guys who would endure all that for our enjoyment deserve WAY more than they get, both in money and in public respect. Thank you, seniors, for choosing to wear the Orange, for staying loyal when others ran, and for bearing all your various hardships with courage and dignity! You will always be Vols For Life to the true fans, and I hope you will always think of yourselves that way.

One of the bests posts I have ever seen. I wish I was going to be in town to join you there.
