duke and n.c. to the sec isn't going to happen. both suffer from the longhorn syndrome, i.e. they're ashamed of their historical ties to the south, and consider themselves too good to associate with institutions like tennessee and arkansas, where most of the supporters consider higher education with the same ardor they do a root canal, and at best, a necessary pretext to field a football team.
