Guys we do not know how this hire will turn out just like we don't know how anyone we hired would work out. No one has a crystal ball. Give him a chance & if he doesn't win we will hire someone else. do not blame him for taking the job. Everyone of us tries to get the best job we possibly can. That being said there is no doubt Hart botched this whole thing by sitting on his a__s for 2 weeks and not hiring a search firm . He tried to do it all on his own & showed that he could not handle it !
