Let me preface by saying I hope with total sincerity that CJ succeeds because if he don't get the job done relatively soon it may never be done. My biggest concern is if CJ deserves all of the great superlatives currently being heaped upon him by ADH, why were they not recognized back in early to mid November, before apparently being turned down by several other coaches? The current level of performance by the football team as been terrible by any standards but even this poor level has been accentuated by the results CF achieved during his tenure. CF brought the highest level of FB in UT history other than possibly during Neyland's era and this has served to set the bar so high that marginal success may not be acceptable and when you add Bama, the Gators and Georgia and their superior instate recruiting advantage, who ever the coach is will need a lot of luck in addition to some great coaching skills.
