My left-handed comment: We will not lure 5-star players away from the state of Florida with a losing record. I doubt we sign even one 5-star player this year, although our guys are good recruiters. Regardless, Jones proved he knows how to win with 3 and 4-star talent, which is what he did at Cincy, putting several of these 3-star players in the NFL. There are no better recruiters out there than Graham and Thigpin--period--and when we have a couple of winning seasons under our belt, watch these two bring the top recruits to Tennessee. Go Vols!

The Dead Period begins Dec. 17 through Jan. 3. It means no contacts or visits except 1 phone call per week during this time to any recruits. They can only talk to mid term commitments.

I hope that Jones and his staff are not on the recruiting trail as it would be a violation otherwise.
