Not only did he NOT broadcast the game with professionalism, he knows nothing about football. He was one sided making it known he was for ND. He should be banned from broadcasting football at any level. I had to mute the game to enjoy what the Tide did to ND. Herb should refuse to do a game on TV with him in the future, IF there is a future for him. Other stations would get rid of him.

Tomkat,

I concur 100%. On the separate column about the game, I made similar comments. Musberger went on and on about this young lady, as if he'd never seen a beautiful girl before. It was a bit creepy. Then, on 2 occasions, he couldn't tell where the line of scrimmage was.........missing one call by 5 yards and another by 2 or 3. Once we saw who the broadcasters were going to be, it was a bit of a disappointment. Can you imagine Musberger and Vern Lundquist teaming up?

Next, how about the t.v.camera following
McCarron and his center around after their little confrontation which resulted in a Bama timeout. A bit of sensationalism it seemed.

Everyone has their favorite announcers, and most of the time one of the two will be great........the other one pretty average at best.
