The reason for my rant...why didn't you disclose the part about the kid not feeling comfortable about playing in an environment like UT/SEC. Because that's EXACTLY what happened. He felt it was a bit much for his liking so he went a bit smaller with his choice. Instead, your hacks CLEARLY gave their best attempt to make it sound like Tennessee got slapped down by a 2* player for some school 99% of society has never heard of. All I ask is get the REAL STORY before you turn your "writers" loose with non factual articles and headlines that make the program look bad.

Funny...I come on here for the first time in forever (because KNS is a JOKE), and see this negative misleading headline. But not ONE DAMN WORD about this official visits comming in the next few weeks. Perhaps that would be too positive and would actual prove just how much work CBJ and staff has actually put in.

And I'm sure this post will get deleted or perhaps my account. And that's fine. But it's a sad day when a metro area of 600k can't have a decent news paper. Better yet decent writers to cover a program the magnitude of UTs. The key contributors Driving the negativity around are program are the writers for the Knoxville News Sentinal. But it's glaringly obvious that your guys get their thrills by doing so....and it's really SAD!

I agree with you though. KNS does have some hacks for writers. But...it's all we've got for now.

KNS...please heed Rich's suggestions, as they are echoed by many of your readers. The blatant negativity to drive up comment numbers is so boringly transparent.
