There is no "let him walk on". He can walk on with or without the coaches asking. He is looking for a scholarship. This kid maybe the answer to all of our problems but statistically speaking probably not. There are a lot of very good, very small quarterbacks out there. With O lines standing on ave 6-4 a small quarterback has huge challenges. Granted there are outliers. I'm not diminishing "want to" but just because a kid grew up in your backyard does not make him a good use of a scholarship. Some of the posters on here think we could win the SEC with a team out of Knox county and the NCAA with an all Tenn roster.
