You know, I think a guy named Doug Atkins was a walk on to the football team. He turned out, okay, I think. More recently, Juwan Jones walked on for the bb team and did "right finely" as they say in Mountain City. CAK is about the size and just down the road from both Webb and Catholic who have both turned out a few pretty fair players. So there does not seem to be any reason to suspect that CAK cannot and has not either, is there? I think UT would have loved to have Harrison Smith and would love to have Todd Kelly, Jr., so why not Kendrick and Smith? BTW: about the former vb player, please note that the aforementioned Atkins was at UT on a basketball scholarship and Larry Robinson, who was a starter for the UT basketball team, was drafted by and played for the Dallas Cowboys. Do not judge players until you see them play (other wise you might think someone who is rated the number one kicker in american should be given a scholarshiop and turns out to be Palardy or Borgnone).
