I think this is an awesome P.R. move on CBJ part. These are all East Tn kids who have been with the program 3 or 4 years and are being rewarded. It makes a statement by showing loyalty to in state players and will pay dividends in the future. Maybe a kid who was gonna go out of state or to a smaller school on scholarship well decide to stay and play for the home team if he knows it will pay off in the long run. J.Majors used to award 4th year walk-ons scholarships pretty regularly.
