Massengale IS a good point guard, but she could be better. She needs to crank everything up a notch--her fitness, her defensive intensity, her aggressiveness on offense, her leadership. She is talented but a bit too passive. She reminds me of the PG we had years ago--Moore, who was very athletic but just never became the outstanding college player she had the potential to be. She played in the WNBA and I believe did quite well. UT's guard play just has not been good enough over the last decade-spotty recruiting and spotty play. Look at the ND game: all three guards played poorly on both ends of the court. You can't win big games with mediocre guard play.
