The Bell situation reveals exactly what I feared upon hearing Butch Jones was our new Head Coach: He is better than Dooley ( who isn't? ) but still not good enough. Coach Jones may be able to get us back to a bottom of the Top 25 level of success but not back to the elite level. It's too bad Mike Hamilton wasted all of the athletic department's money with his over the top renovations to Neyland and Thompson Boling but wasn't smart enough to leave any reserve $ to hire competent, SEC level coaches (also reference Coach Martin and the disaster basketball has become). If we keep piling up humiliating losses in football and basketball those Taj Mahal type facilities will prove to be nothing more than white elephants.
