Not the prettiest of performances, but they pulled it out when they had to.

First off, some things went right, especially early on, but it went south in a hurry. We were excelling with the high-low early on (Graves first 2 baskets) but we got away from it. Sure, LSU made some adjustments, but from that point, Simmons got frantic and allowed LSU to weasel back in it. However, you have to give LSU and Caldwell some credit.

Beyond poor adjustments and lackluster offense (at times), Ariel was turning the ball over more than your grandmother flips fried pies, and Kamiko wasnt herself (certainly due to her ankle injury). Bottom line: Graves and Simmons stepped up when they had to and they carried us to the victory. I cant complain a whole lot with the win, they just need to tighting up a few things and Holly needs to learn how to use her TOs! They are there for a reason and for free use (she is way too dependent on media TOs...especially in the first half of games). This could be her achilles heel down the road....Tighting that up CHW!! GBO!!
