I've thought the same thing many times, dv! I guess the smarter and classier members of both fan bases enjoy talking to each other on their own websites, while we get the dregs that none of the good fans want anything to do with. I know WE don't want anything to do with them, but what can you do? Even clueless dorks have to feel like they have SOME purpose in life. I just wish they didn't feel like they have to come on our site to fulfill it.
