The article states his first strike was when his handgun was used by teammates in a robbery. Other than not securing his weapon, how is that Dyer's problem? His second strike was driving 96 mph? (Why not 100?) I don't think I'd want a football player who had never broken the speed limit. And then they found another gun in his trunk. Oh my. Which law was that again? Back before we all became a nation of limp-wristed, politically correct wimps, we wore our firearm on our hip instead of hiding it in our "trunk".
Talk to him. Evaluate his character for yourself. Use common sense. Then sign him.
Agreed. What if he has turned his life around and goes somewhere and has a monster season? How many people on here would be on CBJ for not signing him?
