IN EFFECT UNTIL DEC 10, 11:00 a.m.
issued for Anderson
I seriously doubt the score of this game will be close, but the Vols can still give a good account of themselves if everybody comes to play and they don't make a lot of silly mistakes. From what I have seen, Murray is one of the great QBs in the game today. However, he is without a couple of his major weapons for the game against the Vols. His leading WR was lost for the season during a TD celebration--anybody still think showboating is a victimless crime?--and RB Gurley may be out or hobbled as well. I would give the Dawgs the manpower advantage virtually across the board, but the discrepancy may not be as great as it would have been in August. If the Vols can win the turnover battle and not give up too many big plays, the result might be closer than most think right now. Oh sure, a victory would be a huge long shot, but the Dawgs have a history of not always rising to the occasion against the Vols. If the Vols can put their recent failures behind them and look at what they can yet accomplish this season, I sorta like their chances.
