bossvol, I was trained to stand at attention when in civilian dress during the presentation of colors or the playing of the National Anthem, not to put my hand over my heart. Either way is deemed proper respect by civilians. In my opinion, it is poor taste to bring your politics into this conversation. Go Vols!
