I've supported Dooley since he was hired, but as far as I'm concerned, he sealed his fate when he let the clock run out at the end of the Mizzou game with two timeouts still in his pocket, win or lose. UT absolutely cannot keep a coach who won't even try to take shots down the field in that situation with the talent the Vols have on offense. If they set Palardy up for a field goal and he misses, or the Vols run out of downs, so be it. At least they tried to win it in regulation, the way a team is supposed to do. Settling for OT in that situation is not remotely acceptable. That's why he has to go. If I had been AD Hart, Dooley wouldn't have made it out of the locker room still employed.
