Being realistic, UT is not a very attractive job right now. To lure a big name head coach would require a guarantee of tens of millions of dollars, which UT is not prepared to do. I think we will either have to give OJT to a position coach (which has worked out OK for Florida) or elevate a PROVEN (not a novice WAC coach with a losing record) head coach from a lesser conference. To me, Charlie Strong and Gus Malzahn are the best realistic candidates.
