Lauren Spuhlerhttp://www.govolsxtra.com/staff/lauren-spuhler/<p>Lauren Spuhler joined the News Sentinel in February 2005 as an online producer. In this role, she produced video, audio and multimedia packages, and worked to keep knoxnews.com fresh with breaking news content. She became assistant visuals editor in March 2011, and helps coordinate video and online operations.</p> <p>She was part of a team that won back-to-back national Edward R. Murrow Awards for news video documentary. </p> <p>Lauren is originally from New Jersey. She earned her Master's in journalism from Northwestern University and holds bachelor degrees in magazine journalism and English from Syracuse University.
