Sanders satisfied with QBs
But Sanders, Tennessees offensive coordinator, is pleased with the progress his signal-callers have made through the first three days of practice.
"C.J. (Leak) has picked up where he left off in the spring, Sanders said. "Rick (Clausen) has actually accelerated past where he was in the spring.
The focus for Leak has been handling defensive pressure better, while Clausen has worked to improve his arm strength.
"The two freshmen (Brent Schaeffer and Erik Ainge), I'm really pleased with them considering all the different things theyve seen,"' Sanders said. "Theyve seen and done more the last three days than they have ever had to deal with.
"They're not where they need to be, but theyre ahead of where most all freshman quarterbacks weve had have been at this point.
