Hendrix arrested in Georgia for marijuana possession
Hendrix was arrested Aug. 13 for possession of marijuana and driving a motor vehicle without a license, according to Newton County Sheriff's records. He was booked into the jail just before midnight and released shortly thereafter on $1,780 bond.
Tennessee team spokesman Craig Pinkerton declined to comment on the incident, and coach Bruce Pearl did not immediately return a phone call Wednesday.
Hendrix, a senior from Covington, walked on at Tennessee after leaving Clemson with a foot injury in 2002. Last season, he played in 28 games including three starts.
