Men's team makes AP top 25 poll
Fresh off their 97-78 win at former sixth-ranked Texas on Saturday, the Volunteers (6-0) received 281 points in the poll and placed them just above Ohio State (7-0). Texas (8-2) dropped to No.15.
Other SEC teams in the AP Top 25 are: No. 5 Florida (10-0) and No. 19 Kentucky (7-3).
Tennessee was not ranked in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches' Poll; it fell four points short of the No. 25 spot, which was occupied by Pittsburgh (8-0).
