Wingate to play tonight
Vols' coach Bruce Pearl said Monday that Wingate was "doubtful'' after injuring his foot in a Sunday night scrimmage.
"Major has pretty much spent the last two nights getting therapy, and he's going to try to play,'' Pearl said. "I'm going to let him try.''
The Ragin' Cajuns are the Sun Belt Conference presason favorites and feature a 6-foot-10 and 6-foot-11 player in their starting front line.
