The SEC announced Monday that Tennessee's Oct. 22 visit to Alabama is
being televised by CBS Sports and kicks off at 3:30 p.m. EDT. The game
marks UT's second consecutive appearance on CBS this season and third
overall in 2005.
Alabama leads the series 43-37-7 but the Vols have won two in a row and nine of the last 10, including 17-13 one year ago in Knoxville. Tennessee's last lost at Alabama was a 24-19 decision in 1991.
