UT's Watson first-team SEC

Tennessee point guard C.J. Watson made the preseason All-SEC first team announced Friday while guard Chris Lofton was a second-round pick.

Alabama landed two players on the first team and the Tide and Arkansas were the only teams with three players among the first and second team picks.

Four first-team selections were unanimous: Alabama's Chuck Davis and Ronald Steele, Arkansas' Ronnie Brewer and Kentucky's Rajon Rondo.

The preseason All-SEC first and second teams consist of a minimum of eight players on each squad, voted on by the SEC head basketball coaches, the league said in a news release. No ties were broken and no predicted order of finish was made.
