SEC games: October 22
Time: 12:30 p.m. Television: WVLT.
Skinny: Georgia's won the last four meetings in the series but needed to rally from a 14-10 deficit at halftime last season.
Key Players: Arkansas' receiver Marcus Monk leads the Hogs with 21 catches for 250 yards and six TDs; Georgia QB D.J. Shockley is 6-0 as a starter. He leads SEC and is 13th nationally with a 155.1 pass efficiency rating.
Line: Georgia by 18A 1/2.
Kentucky at Ole Miss
Time: 2 p.m. Television: None.
Skinny: First meeting between the teams since 2001. The Rebels have won five of the past six meetings and sorely need a win after a close call at Alabama. Wildcats are coming off a bye week.
Key Players: Kentucky's Rafael Little leads the SEC and ranks 16th nationally with 152.4 all-purpose yards per game (460 rushing, 119 receiving, 99 kick return and 84 punt return); Ole Miss' Michael Spurlock was first QB to pass for 200 yards on Alabama.
Line: Ole Miss by 10A 1/2.
Houston at Mississippi State
Time: 2:30 p.m. Television: None.
Skinny: With wins over Houston, Kentucky, Ole Miss and Arkansas, the Bulldogs could go bowling. Cougars look to rebound from 35-20 loss to Memphis.
Key Players: Houston QB Kevin Kolb has eight career 300-yard passing performances; MSU end Willie Evans in second in SEC with 9.5 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks.
Line: Mississippi State by 1.
Vanderbilt at South Carolina
Time: 1 p.m. Television: None.
Skinny: The loser of this game will have their bowl hopes dimmed considerably. Gamecocks won last meeting, 3524 in 2003.
Key Players: Vandy linebacker Moses Osemwegie tied a career high with 13 tackles against Georgia and had a sack and an interception; USC QB Blake Mitchell returned from an injured ankle to pass for 277 yards and two touchdowns in win over Kentucky.
Line: South Carolina by 8.
Auburn at LSU
Time: 7:45 p.m. Television: ESPN.
Skinny: This battle should help out the top-heavy SEC West; Auburn won last year 10-9, but the home team in this series has won the past five meetings.
Key players: Auburn running back Kenny Irons earned SEC offensive player of the week with a career-high 182 yards; LSU receiver Dwayne Bowe showed he's back from ankle injury with a 27-yard TD catch against Florida.
Line: LSU by 6.
