ARKANSAS (1-2) AT NO. 20 ALABAMA (3-0)

Time: 12:30 p.m. Television: WVLT.

Skinny: Arkansas coach Houston Nutt is on the hot seat; Alabama looking to drive to SEC West title.

Key Players: Arkansas tailback De’Arrius Howard has got a big load to carry on his back; Alabama QB Brodie Croyle has won six starts in a row.

Line: Alabama by 16

WESTERN KENTUCKY (2-0) AT AUBURN (2-1)

Time: 2:30 p.m. Television: None.

Skinny: Tigers add another creampuff to the mix and should keep rolling up the points and the wins. Another lopsided win could put them back in the Top 25.

Key Players: Hilltoppers QB Justin Haddix entered the season as the school’s record holder in completion percentage and pass efficiency rating. Auburn QB Brandon Cox ranks 29th in the nation in pass efficiency.

Line: None.

NO. 5 FLORIDA (3-0) AT KENTUCKY (1-2)

Time: 3:30 p.m. Television: WVLT.

Skinny: Gators look to make it 19 in a row over Wildcats; Kentucky wants to find something to build on after disappointing loss to Indiana.

Key players: Florida QB Chris Leak’s striving to get more comfortable in Gators’ new offense; Kentucky sophomore QB Andre Woodson has five TD passes and 0 interceptions.

The line: Florida by 23

WYOMING (2-1) AT OLE MISS (1-1)

Time: 7 p.m. Television: None.

Skinny: Rebels look to avenge last year’s 37-32 loss to Cowboys in Laramie; Wyoming coming off 29-28 win at Air Force.

Key players: Ole Miss receiver Mario Hill ranks ninth nationally with 119 yards receiving per game; Wyoming safety John Wendling was Mountain West player of week after 13-tackle effort against Falcons.

Line: Ole Miss by 3

RICHMOND (1-2) AT VANDERBILT (3-0)

Time: 7 p.m. Television: None.

Skinny: Vandy looks to go 4-0 for first time since 1984 and has two SEC wins for the first time since 1999; I-AA Spiders haven’t beaten a I-A foe since knocking off Virginia Tech in 1985.

Key players: Vanderbilt QB Jay Cutler leads SEC with 289.3 yards passing per game and 338 yards total offense and outing; Richmond LB Lance Gray had two interceptions in win over Maine last week.

Line: none.

TROY (1-2) AT SOUTH CAROLINA (1-2)

Time: 7 p.m. Television: Pay-per-view.

Skinny: Finally, a chance for Gamecocks’ coach Steve Spurrier to run up the score, just like good ’ol times. With Auburn on deck, Spurrier better enjoy it while he can.

Key players: South Carolina QB Blake Mitchell is 2nd in SEC with 246.3 yards passing per game and has completed 63.2-percent of his passes; Troy’s Smokey Hampton had 10 catches in 31-point loss to Missouri last week.

Lline: South Carolina by 18½

NO. 7 GEORGIA (3-0) AT MISSISSIPPI STATE (2-1)

Time: 9 p.m. Television: ESPN2.

Skinny: Battle of SEC Bulldogs rekindled for first time since 1997. Georgia hopes to sharpen its game against a steadily improving Sylvester Croom-coached Mississippi State team.

Key players: Georgia QB D.J. Shockley leads SEC in pass efficiency and has scored first TD in each game with runs of more than 10 yards; Mississippi State tailback Jerious Norwood coming off 21-carry, 99-yard effort in win over Tulane..

Line: Georgia by 15
