Chism will be waiting for Kemp

With their high school careers over, Bolivar Central High School teammates Willie Kemp and Wayne Chism are going their separate ways after the Memphis All-Star Classic on Saturday.

The tandem led Bolivar to a Class AA state title in 2005, but after raduation Kemp is on his way to Memphis and Chism will head east to the University of Tennessee.

"Wayne he’s a great player, but we’re moving on," Kemp said. "We’re still going to be friends."

Friends or not it seems both are going to look forward to next season when the Tigers travel to Knoxville.

"It feels like Willie’s going to be gone, but he’s going to have to come to my house to play," Chism said. "It’s going to be a good game."

Visitors: Prize basketball recruit Ramar Smith, a guard from Detroit King High, attended the Orange and White Game on Saturday along with UT coach Bruce Pearl and center Major Wingate as part of his official visit. Smith is expected to chose between UT and Arkansas on Monday.

Shannon Bobbitt, a point guard from Trinity Valley (Texas) Community College, also attended the game as part of her official visit with the Lady Vols.
