- Starters returning: 8 offense, 9 defense
- Impact newcomer: WR Tony Burks
- Outlook: The defense should be competitive in the nation's most defensive-oriented conference. But Henig has yet to prove he's an SEC caliber quarterback, there's little experience at tailback, and the offensive line is still a work in progress. The Bulldogs should continue to improve but they will be hard-pressed to win more than four games.
