Terms of the deal were not immediately known, but Allen, a former Tennessee Vol, will receive between $8 million and $9 million in guaranteed money, and he will be among the NFLs top five highest-paid safeties over the length of the contract, assuming he meets expectations.
Allen was on a plane from Atlanta to South Florida on Monday night.
"Hes excited and ready to go," said Sean Kiernan, of Impact Sports, which represents Allen. "Hell be ready to practice first thing in the morning. Everyones pretty happy."
